Having spent my life living in both Denmark and the US, my personality and approach to business is a hybrid of both cultures. From an aesthetic perspective, I am influenced heavily by the efficiency and brutalism of Danish minimalist design. However, as a freelance creative, I am also driven by my American tendencies to innovate my styles by maintaining an open mind to incorporating new influences to my ever-evolving aesthetic
approach.
II am currently finishing my BA in the History of Art and Architecture at the University of California, Santa Barbara where I was admitted as one of the top 10% of applicants in 2020. Upon graduation, I will continue building my business with an active corporate
presence in both the US and Scandinavia.
SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING - A CASE STUDY
As part of my marketing and content creation practices, I manage social media accounts for
companies of various sizes within the worlds of interior design, hospitality, and B2B. This
work includes Light Build Design and Copenhagen Pastry. Whether social media is used as a general branding initiative or a strategic campaign in pursuit of a targeted ROI, my social media services are the quickest,
most fiscally efficient means to express your brand identity while keeping your chosen
audience engaged through a steady diet of thoughtfully curated content.
COPYWRITING AND TRANSLATION
Being bilingual, I have offered my copywriting and translation services to many Danish companies ie. newspapers, advertising agencies, social media agencies, and leading retailers throughout Scandinavia.
I am passionate about finding the right words and developing a brand voice that aligns with and supports my client's brand values.
WRITING
My passion for writing began at an early age. I was first published in a leading Danish
newspaper at age 12, when I submitted a feature article delving into the nuanced
discrepancies between the Danish and American educational approach. The piece
went on to be the most shared commentary piece ever shared by the newspaper.
The story was subsequently picked up again as part of a larger series featured in an
academic workbook for elementary schools.
In 2019, I wrote an article for another leading Danish media outlet regarding gun
control, school shootings and the associated prevalence of lockdown drills in the
American educational landscape.
This work continues as I am often looked upon to
provide commentary and analysis on matters relating to gun violence and the
cultural repercussions for American students and educators.
GRAPHIC DESIGN – A structured and modular approach to utilize my creative output.
Graphic design is one of my many passions and I love the process and possibilities of working in the digital realm.
ALBUM ART
A collaboration between my love of art, graphic design, and music. I begin my work on paper prior to rendering digitally in order to maximize the number of creative outcomes for my clients.
